“The mobility event without limits” – this is the motto of the international innovation conference “SHIFT Mobility” that will be held in Berlin from September 1 to 6, 2022, as a part of the International Consumer Electronics Fair (IFA). SHIFT Mobility sees itself as a global platform – a festival of ideas and experiences beyond traditional trade fairs. The event consists of two parts: A two-day B2B congress with high-profile speakers, masterclasses, think tanks and interactive formats, and a six-day “Exhibition & Experience” area – a curated B2B and B2C exhibition where new products and developments are presented live; including test drives and product demonstrations.

More than 50 speakers are expected to attend. Among them will be Nakul Duggal, Head of Automotive at international semiconductor manufacturer Qualcomm, and Ben Wibbe, Account Executive Automotive at Apple. In addition, the European Head of the Chinese electric car manufacturer Aiways, Dr. Alexander Klose, and the Director of Ford’s Future Lab, Usha Raghavachari, as well as tech blogger and digital expert Sascha Pallenberg from Taipei will be part of the conference. The full program will be released in the coming weeks.

“We are making tomorrow’s mobility touchable, experienceable and tangible,” says Dr. Hans Hamer, CEO of SHIFT Mobility. “The focus of our conference is how the mobility of the future will change the way we think, the way we live and the way we get around. SHIFT Mobility is a completely new event format for innovation. It aims to take you on a fascinating journey into the mobility of tomorrow.”

SHIFT Mobility is the place where the most promising visions and future trends are presented. It brings together critical minds, top scientists, game-changers, decision-makers, inventors, company representatives and start-ups working on disruptive technological developments, new business models and products that will fundamentally change the mobility experience.

Key topics in 2022 are “Sustainable Mobility & Circular Economy”, “Car-Tech & Connectivity”, “Urban Mobility and Infrastructure & New Urbanism”, “New Dimensions of Mobility” and “Renewable Energy”.

For StartUps, the MIND SHIFTER project offers an exclusive stage. The most innovative ideas in the field of mobility, sustainability and technology can apply now. The best ideas take part in a unique program; it offers access to investors, VCs and a global network of experts. They will also have the opportunity to present themselves to conference participants and the media at SHIFT Mobility and during IFA.
